Scene Details:
Jesus is carrying His cross down a street crowded with onlookers. The heavy beam drags on His wounded shoulders. The crown of thorns digs into His bloodied face. Suddenly, He collapses and falls to the ground.
Judah runs up and offers Him a drink of water, remembering when Jesus had once done the same for him.
A centurion approaches, shouting: “No water for him!”
Ignoring the soldier, Judah offers the cup to Christ: “Drink.” Jesus looks up at him. The bloodshot eyes, cracked lips, and wounded face cannot hide the love in the eyes.
Suddenly, the centurion strikes Judah with his whip: “No water for him!”
Judah, furious, closes his fist over a stone, intending to retaliate.
Jesus reaches out an arm, stopping him: “No, Judah! My life…I give it of My own free will.”
